This exclusive hotel is located at the heart of Bern just a few minutes' walk from the old town. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot (around 100 m away).
Facilities
City hotel was built in 1859 and modernised in 2011. The hotel features 99 accommodation units. A lift provides easy access to the upper floors. Amenities include a cloakroom, a safe and currency exchange facilities. Internet access (for a fee) and wireless internet access (for a fee) are available in the public areas. The hotel offers a range of amenities for a comfortable stay, including gastronomic options such as a restaurant and a bar. A newspaper stand is also among the amenities at the hotel. Guests arriving in their own vehicles can park in the car park for a fee. Additional services include room service and a laundry.
Rooms
All rooms feature air conditioning, central heating, a kitchen and a bathroom. The accommodation units each feature a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar also feature. The accommodation units offer a range of amenities, including tea and coffee making equipment. Internet access, a telephone, a TV, a radio and wireless internet access are provided as standard. In each of the bathrooms, guests will find a shower, a bathtub, a hairdryer and bathrobes.
Sports/Entertainment
The hotel offers an indoor pool. The hot tub offers revitalisation. The hotel offers a very extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes volleyball, handball and basketball. For a fee, tennis, beach volleyball, crazy golf, golf and horse riding can also be enjoyed. Guests staying at the hotel will find that it offers all of the necessary conditions for a memorable winter holiday. Guests can enjoy sporting activities such as cross-country skiing. The hotel offers a number of indoor sporting opportunities, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and bowling, or for a fee, pool/billiards, darts and squash. Various wellness options are offered, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage treatments. Entertainment programmes for adults and children are available, and offer variety during the stay.

Hotel will serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant "Jack's Brasserie". As the demand on weekends is currently high and measures for restaurants are still in effect, the evening service will be split (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Reservations can be made from either 6:00pm - 8:15pm or 8:30pm - 11:00pm (last food order is available until 9:30pm).
The Lobby Lounge Bar is open Friday and Saturday from 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
In the Spa area, 15 guests are allowed at the same time. In order to give all our guests the possibility to use the spa area during the stay we offer time slots of 1.5 hours which can be reserved in advance. In our fitness room 2 people are allowed at the same time.
Please note that hotel is very busy on weekends and recommend you to make a reservation for a time slot as well as a table reservation.
Monday to and including Wednesday without the wet zone and the sauna:
The restaurant "Jacks Brasserie" is open again for breakfast, lunch and dinner for in-house guests.
The Lobby Lounge Bar is open Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Fitness area is available during your stay and massages can also be enjoyed with prior reservation. Please inform hotel if you would like to use the fitness room and note that the maximum number of guests is two. Hotel will disinfect the equipment after your use. The wet area and sauna will still be closed during the week (Monday to Wednesday), except Monday May 24, 2021it is open until 3.00 pm.
Due to hotel hygienic standards, they do not offer the turn down service in the evening. The laundry service is of course at your disposal (exclusive express cleaning).
Also please note that the valet parking has increased to CHF 50.00 per night and car.

Hotel offers time slots in the spa area which can be reserved from Friday to Sunday in advance.
